Life and AD&D Insurance

Allegion helps you protect your loved ones by providing you with Basic Life and Basic Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance coverage through Aflac.

You have the option to purchase additional Life and AD&D insurance coverage for yourself and your family when you are first eligible for benefits and each year during Annual Enrollment (though Evidence of Insurability may be required) or if you have a qualified family status change during the year.

Evidence of Insurability

When electing supplemental insurance for you and your family you may need to submit Evidence of Insurability (EOI) if you elect certain amounts of life insurance or if you did not enroll yourself or your dependents when you were first eligible. You will be prompted to provide EOI when you enroll if it is required.

Submitting this information is not a guarantee of coverage, and coverage will not become effective until the EOI is approved.

Beneficiary Designation

Your beneficiary is the person who receives your benefit if you die. Naming your beneficiary ensures the money goes to the right person. You can designate more than one beneficiary or name a trust, charity or estate to receive the benefit.

To designate or update your beneficiary, log in to Workday, click on the Benefits link, and then under Change, select Beneficiaries and follow the prompts.
