Please note: Domestic partners are not eligible for coverage under Allegion’s benefit plans.

      Benefit Options

As an eligible employee, you may choose the coverage that best suits your needs from the following benefit options:

      Dependent Verification

If you elect health care benefits for your dependents, you will receive a verification request in the mail within 30 days of your benefits enrollment. You must return the required documents to cover your eligible dependents. Your dependents will have no coverage if you do not complete the dependent verification process. Refer to this page for more information on this process and follow instructions in the email you will receive from Verifi1.

      Default Coverage

If you do not enroll in benefits by the deadline, the only coverage you will have for the rest of the calendar year is company-provided Basic Life and AD&D insurance. Remember, your enrollment deadline is 31 days from your hire date. After this date, you will not be able to enroll in benefits until the next Annual Enrollment period.

Do you need to change your benefits?

When you have a qualified life event ― like getting married, having a baby, or gaining health coverage ― you are eligible to change certain benefit elections outside of the annual benefits enrollment period.

You have 31 days from the date of the event to change your benefits. If you miss this deadline, you must wait until the next annual benefits enrollment period to make benefit changes. To view or update your benefits, visit Workday.

      Qualifying Life Event

When you make a change due to a qualifying life event, please be sure to enter your benefit changes by the 31st day following the event date. For example, you have 31 days to add a newborn to the current year's plans.
